Brianna Anderson is a scholar and writer with expertise in environmental storytelling, children's literature, and graphic narratives. As a Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia Tech, she combines her passion for writing and education to explore how media can address complex social and environmental challenges. With a Ph.D. in English from the University of Florida and a background in digital humanities, Brianna’s work bridges the gap between academic research and creative storytelling. Her articles, book chapters, and teaching initiatives reflect a commitment to fostering critical thinking and empathy through literature.
Brianna Anderson earned her Ph.D. in English from the University of Florida and completed a Graduate Certificate in Digital Humanities. Her doctoral research focused on youth eco-activism and environmental storytelling in children’s comics. She holds an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Kentucky, where she developed her expertise in analyzing cultural narratives, and a B.A. in English Literature, magna cum laude, from Lake Erie College. This diverse academic foundation supports her interdisciplinary storytelling, teaching, and research approach.
